  • Demand for land is constantly growing as population increases, leading to price appreciation over time.
  • Government investment in roads network which have opened up previously inaccessible areas is also a huge contributor to land appreciation
  • Pricing of land and its appreciation or depreciation is important to both real estate companies and individual home owners
  • At present, there is lack of adequate and comprehensive information land pricing for decision making
  • PRC commissioned this establishment survey to form a foundation for future half-yearly tracking of land prices and provide the parameters for land appreciation measurement.
